MSUN welcomes USA, Inc. for their benchmarking visit
On June 10, 2026, Mindanao State University at Naawan (MSUN) welcomed a delegation of faculty members and selected students from the Department of Biology of the University of San Agustin, Inc., Iloilo City.
Led by University of San Agustin, Inc. Biology Academic Supervisor Jilla A. Tornalejo, the official benchmarking visit aimed to foster academic collaboration and explore MSUN’s established best practices as one of the leading institutions in marine and biological sciences.
The activity provided the visiting delegation with valuable insights into MSUN’s academic programs, laboratory management, research initiatives, extension services, and student development strategies.
As part of their experiential learning and campus tour, the University of San Agustin, Inc. delegation went around the university and visited several key facilities, including laboratories, hatchery, and ponds. These site visits allowed the delegates to observe first-hand the innovative methodologies and facilities that drive MSUN’s reputable instruction and community engagement.
Through this successful collaborative effort, both universities are poised to create meaningful strides in educational innovation, strengthening the network of biological and marine science research across the regions.
