Coral Reef Management Hub (CoReM Hub)

Coral Reef Management Hub (CoReM Hub)

The CoReM Hub in its history started as a clique among colleagues of researchers, faculty, and staff at Mindanao State University at Naawan with a common interest and ability to develop a working ecosystem that addresses the need for science-based information for the development of local coastal resource management plan or policy.

Over the years the University was able to build and strengthen its research and development, extension, and production assets in infrastructure, laboratories, manpower, and working ecosystems that effectively deliver its services to the community, stakeholders, and the sustainability of the environment.  This achievement may never have been possible without our partners for their trust and cooperation, directly and indirectly working with us to achieve our common goals.  And we are grateful for such collaborations.

We are reaffirming our commitment and make it known the evolution of the Coral Reef Management Hub (CoReM Hub), a center of convergence of specialists from different colleges of the University, a landscape of access to opportunities and collaborations of communities and stakeholders for various projects that deal on the management and the sustainability of the coastal ecosystems.
