Office of the Institutional Planning and Development
The Office of Institutional Planning and Development (OIPD) plays a vital role in steering the university’s growth and ensuring that its long-term goals are achieved. It oversees all planning and development activities on campus, including infrastructure, land use, facility improvement, and renovation projects. The office evaluates proposals from various units, manages resource allocation, and consolidates annual project and budget plans to support the university’s priorities. To carry out its functions effectively, the OIPD operates through three key units: the Institutional Planning and Programming Unit (IPPU), the Project Management and Monitoring Unit (PMMU), and the Engineering and Architectural Services Unit (EASU).
Each unit has a specific focus that contributes to the office’s overall mission. The IPPU develops and aligns institutional plans and programs with the university’s strategic direction, while the PMMU ensures that projects are implemented efficiently and completed on time. Meanwhile, the EASU provides technical support in engineering and architecture to maintain quality and compliance in all infrastructure projects. Working closely with internal departments, regional agencies, and external partners, the OIPD ensures that development initiatives meet government regulations and reflect the university’s commitment to academic excellence, sustainability, and community service. Through these collective efforts, the OIPD strengthens the university’s capacity for innovation and sustainable growth.
