As part of the 51st founding anniversary celebration of the Mindanao State University at Naawan, loyalty, service, and research publication awardees as well as professor emeriti, distinguished partners, and topnotchers were recognized during the Gabi ng Parangal on December 3, 2024.

This year’s event featured two distinguished guest speakers: Dr. Adelaida T. Calpe, Director of the Inland Aquatic Resources Research Division, and Mr. Rafael Y. Abrogar II, Regional Director of TESDA Region X. Their inspiring words reinforced the importance of excellence and commitment to research and development.

Moreover, a total of 73 employees took oath, led by Mayor Dennis Roa and Vice Mayor Allan Roa for the Panunumpa ng Lingkod Bayan.

Among them, 32 were newly contractualized, 13 were promoted, 12 were part of the third batch of newly itemized Instructor I, and 16 were reclassified faculty members through NBC 308.

Representatives from each classification shared heartfelt acceptance messages, reflecting on their journeys and experiences before achieving these significant milestones.

In her message, Chancellor Dr. Elnor C. Roa expressed deep pride and gratitude: “Sa akong mga palangga, dili ko magkapoy bahalag maabtan tag kaadlawon para manghatag sa recognition na inyong buhaton because the recognition that you are receiving is the recognition for MSU at Naawan,” expressed Chancellor Dr. Elnor C. Roa. (To my loved ones, I won’t get tired even if we reach dawn in giving recognition for all that you do, because the recognition you are receiving is the recognition for MSU at Naawan.”)

Furthermore, this annual event recognizes the achievements and contributions of stakeholders who brought glory and honor to the University.
