On December 2, 2024, Mindanao State University at Naawan (MSUN) employees came together to showcase their incredible talents and creativity in the annual Employees’ Cultural Presentation Competition, held as part of the university’s 51st founding anniversary celebration. The event was a colorful and dynamic display of culture, with each team drawing inspiration from a different global film industry, creating a memorable experience for all in attendance.

Team Blue Hydra kicked off the competition with a dazzling performance inspired by Hollywood, bringing to life some of the most iconic and unforgettable moments from the world’s largest film industry. Their expertly executed routines and dramatic flair left the audience in awe, embodying the magic and excitement of Hollywood blockbusters.

Team Yellow Orca, on the other hand, brought the vibrant energy of Bollywood to the stage, filling the air with rhythmic dances, bright costumes, and infectious music. Their performance was a lively celebration of India’s cinematic artistry, capturing the spirit of Bollywood with their high-energy moves and dazzling choreography.

Meanwhile, Team Red Megalodon entertained the audience with their unique “Animewood” performance, merging the captivating world of Japanese anime with live-action theater. The team’s intricate choreography and dynamic storytelling transported the audience into a world where animation and reality blend seamlessly, captivating fans of both mediums.

Not to be outdone, Team Green Electric Eel presented a heartfelt tribute to the Philippines’ beloved Pinoy Sine, highlighting the rich history and enduring cultural significance of Filipino films. Their performance brought together powerful emotions, captivating storytelling, and a deep sense of national pride, celebrating the impact of Pinoy cinema on both the local and global stage.
