MSU at Naawan, Universitas Negeri Jakarta Sign MOU to Strengthen Academic and Research Collaboration

The attendance of MSU at Naawan delegates to the Times Higher Education Global Sustainable Development Congress 2026 has become a fruitful engagement for the University, as another Memorandum of Understanding was signed with Universitas Negeri Jakarta, Indonesia, on June 25, 2026 during the global gathering in Indonesia.

MSU at Naawan was represented by University Chancellor Dr. Elnor C. Roa; Dr. Rey Y. Capangpangan, Vice Chancellor for Research, Innovation and Global Engagement; Dr. Anabelle D. Espadero, Director for Research and Publication Services; and Dr. Aida P. Perpetua, Director for Extension Services.

The congress was attended by universities, policymakers, industries, and organizations in advancing sustainable development and institutional collaboration. For MSU at Naawan, the event became an important platform not only for learning and global dialogue, but also for building concrete partnerships with international higher education institutions.

The MOU with Universitas Negeri Jakarta aims to strengthen cooperation between the two universities based on equality and mutual benefit. It opens opportunities for collaboration in education, training, research, science development, human resource development, seminars, workshops, academic activities, exchange of information and publications, scholarship programs, and special short-term academic programs.

This partnership further supports MSU at Naawan’s commitment to quality education, research productivity, global engagement, and sustainable development. It also strengthens the University’s efforts to build meaningful linkages within the ASEAN region and beyond.

Through this collaboration, MSU at Naawan continues to transform global participation into concrete partnerships that create opportunities for students, faculty, researchers, and communities.
