OCDRRM leads basic life support and first aid training; installs Naawan Emergency GeoPindot app

On September 23, 2025, the Office of the Campus Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (OCDRRM) of MSU at Naawan, led by OCDRRM Coordinator Mr. Jay Philmore B. Ansale, successfully held a Basic Life Support (BLS) and First Aid Training alongside the installation of the Naawan Emergency GeoPindot App at the Function House, MSU at Naawan.
We were privileged to learn from our invited resource speakers Mr. Alsymrien L. Fabrigas and Mr. Marlon J. Tenerife from the MDRRMO Naawan, Administration and Training Section, Misamis Oriental, who shared their valuable knowledge and guided participants in hands-on demonstrations of life-saving techniques.
The activity was actively participated by faculty, staff, and students, underscoring the MSU at Naawan community’s shared commitment to safety, preparedness, and resilience.
Furthermore, with the integration of the Naawan Emergency GeoPindot App, participants are now empowered not only with essential first aid and BLS skills but also with an innovative tool for real-time emergency response.
A heartfelt thank you to our OCDRRM personnel, our expert speakers, and our engaged participants for making this event a resounding success!
