SSS Orientation

Mindanao State University at Naawan (MSUN) employees took part in a Social Security System (SSS) Orientation on January 28, 2026, at the MSUN Function House, aimed at strengthening employees’ awareness of their social security benefits and obligations.
The activity was facilitated by Mr. Darrien Dave A. Dagatan, Senior Analyst of the Social Security System, who provided a comprehensive discussion on SSS policies, benefits, and member responsibilities, ensuring that participants were well-informed on current provisions.

Vice Chancellor for Administration and Finance Ms. Rhoda D. Perpetua delivered the opening message, highlighting the significance of social protection programs in promoting employee welfare and financial security.

The orientation was conducted in two sessions to accommodate different employment statuses, with the morning session designated for permanent employees and the afternoon session for Job Order and Contractual personnel.
Ms. Malou R. Galla of the Human Resource Management Office explained the purpose of the orientation, emphasizing MSUN’s proactive efforts to keep its workforce updated on government-mandated benefits.

An interactive question-and-answer segment allowed employees to clarify concerns and gain deeper understanding of SSS matters.
Overall, the activity served as a valuable platform for information-sharing, reinforcing MSUN’s commitment to employee empowerment, compliance, and inclusive workplace support.
