The discussion centered on strengthening institutional partnerships through international academic cooperation, faculty and student mobility, and capacity-building initiatives aligned with national and global development priorities. The three institutions exchanged perspectives on how strategic partnerships can enhance academic programs, research productivity, and community-oriented outcomes, particularly in science- and agriculture-related disciplines.

DOST-SEI Director Dr. Jayeel S. He also underscored DOST-SEI’s role in developing scientific talent through scholarships and academic support mechanisms, highlighting the importance of aligning institutional strengths with long-term workforce and research needs.

CZU, represented by Dr. Francisco Ceacero Herrador, highlighted the university’s experience in international education and collaborative research, particularly in fostering multicultural learning environments and delivering applied, practice-oriented academic training.

MSUN expressed its interest in expanding collaboration with international partners to further strengthen its academic and research capabilities, particularly through joint initiatives that promote knowledge exchange, technology transfer, and sustainable development. The meeting also explored opportunities for future cooperation in graduate education, research, and extension activities, with a shared emphasis on addressing institutional gaps through global partnerships.

The meeting concluded with an agreement to further refine collaborative frameworks and formalize areas of cooperation, reflecting the shared commitment of MSUN,CZU, and DOST-SEI to advancing quality education, research excellence, and international engagement.
