MSU at Naawan Nursing Faculty Joins PNA National Annual Convention 2025

The faculty members of the Mindanao State University at Naawan – Department of Nursing proudly participated in the Philippine Nurses Association, Inc. (PNA) National Annual Convention 2025, held in celebration of the organization’s 103rd Foundation Anniversary and the 68th Nurses’ Week on October 21–23, 2025, at the SMX Convention Center, Lanang, Davao City.
With the theme “Innovate, Advocate, Transform: The Nurses’ Blueprint in a Changing World,” this year’s convention highlighted the evolving and essential role of nurses in shaping the future of healthcare.
The event brought together nursing leaders, educators, and practitioners from across the country to exchange insights, strengthen solidarity, and reaffirm their collective commitment to advancing the nursing profession.
The theme underscores three key pillars of modern nursing practice:
- Innovate — embracing creativity and technology to deliver better, more efficient, and patient-centered care;
- Advocate — serving as the unwavering voice for patients and communities in promoting equitable access to quality health services; and
- Transform — leading continuous advancements in nursing education, research, and practice to meet global health challenges.
The convention emphasized the powerful roles nurses play not only at the bedside but also as innovators, educators, and advocates who contribute to building a healthier and more compassionate society.
The participation of the MSU at Naawan Nursing faculty in this national event reflects the department’s ongoing commitment to professional growth, leadership, and excellence in nursing education, in alignment with the university’s vision of fostering service-oriented, competent, and globally competitive graduates.
