Office of the Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs and Services
The Office of the Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs and Services (OVCSAS) was established through BOR Resolution No. 283, s. 2024, in line with CHED Memorandum Order No. 09 s. 2013. Serving as a one-stop office for student concerns, OVCSAS leads programs and services that go beyond academics, focusing on students’ holistic growth—intellectual, emotional, social, and ethical. OVCSAS delivers student-centered services through three key units:
- Office of Student Welfare (OSW): Promotes physical, mental, and emotional well-being through counseling, health, and wellness programs
- Office of Student Development (OSD): Focuses on leadership, character building, and co/extracurricular activities
- Office of Institutional Student Programs and Services (OSIPS): Manages scholarships, sports and cultural and community engagement
Guided by the principles of CARE—Compassionate, Accountable, Responsive, and Empowering—OVCSAS is committed to creating a safe, inclusive, and supportive campus environment. It champions stakeholder engagement, emotional and physical safety, and a conducive learning environment, ensuring that students thrive academically, socially, and personally while preparing to contribute meaningfully to society and nation-building.
