MSUN, AMSC forge partnership for educational collaboration

In the spirit of academic cooperation and with the shared goal of contributing to international and intercultural education, Mindanao State University at Naawan (MSUN) and Adiong Memorial State College (AMSC) officially sealed their partnership through the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) on August 18, 2025.

The agreement paves the way for a stronger cultural and educational collaboration between the two institutions, with particular focus on enhancing faculty expertise, student learning, research, and extension programs in Fisheries.

The MOA was formally signed by MSUN Chancellor Dr. Elnor C. Roa and AMSC President Dr. Sherifa Rohannie K. Adiong, witnessed by MSUN College of Fisheries and Marine Sciences (CFMS) Dean Dr. Dan M. Arriesgado, MSUN CFMS faculty Dr. Fernand F. Fagutao, and AMSC College of Fisheries OIC Program Coordinator Mr. Jahirun S. Mungkon.

Furthermore, this partnership underscores both institutions’ shared commitment to academic excellence, capacity building, and community development, further empowering students and faculty to become catalysts of progress in the field of Fisheries and beyond.
