The Office of the Vice-Chancellor for Research, Innovation Extension, and Global Engagement​ (OVCRIGE) of MSU at Naawan is the unit in charge of the university’s research, extension, production, gender and development, intellectual property, and peace and development program,
projects, and activities (BOR Res. 355, Series of 2019).

Mission

The OVCRE shall lead in the accomplishment of the university’s mandate in research, extension, and production through science-based RDE programs, initiatives, and efforts to the stakeholders in the region.

The Office of the Vice Chancellor for Research and Extension is in charge of overseeing the following Offices:

• Research and Extension Publication Offices (REPO)
• Intellectual Property Rights Office
• Institute for Peace and Development in Mindanao (IPDM)
