The MSU Naawan Center for Aquaculture Research, Enterprise and Services (CARES) formerly called the Campus Business Unit was created through the integration of three aquaculture projects, namely tilapia grow-out, tilapia hatchery, and fishpond. In 2007, a Shrimp hatchery was added to the center and in 2012 Siganid hatchery was also incorporated into the center.
