The College of Marine and Allied Sciences (CMAS) in collaboration with the College of Agriculture, Forestry, and Environmental Sciences (CAFES), conducted a Focal Group Discussion (FGD) about Solid Waste Segregation on August 15, 2023, at the Audio Visual Room of the Extension Division.
The FGD was attended by the invited personnel, specifically the Naawan MENRO, Naawan Sanitation Officer, SB Chairperson on Environment, Municipal and Barangay Kagawads, Barangay Captains, and Purok Presidents from the coastal areas of Poblacion, Linangkayan, and Maputi, Naawan, Misamis Oriental.
The Clean Ocean Public Forum: Solid Waste Segregation is part of the in-house extension project of CMAS and CAFES which consists of two (2) phases, namely:
