It was another remarkable streak win for Mindanao State University at Naawan (MSUN) as they displayed outstanding execution of powerful shots against MSU-Sulu, securing a well-earned 90-80 victory, during the afternoon basketball game at MSUN court.
The game was intense from the very start, with MSU-Sulu initially asserting control and looking like they might take charge. Their aggressive offense and defensive pressure put MSUN on the back foot, as they managed to build an early lead.
However, MSUN refused to back down, using their resilience and strategic play to slowly turn the tables.
With key adjustments in both offense and defense, MSUN began to break down MSU-Sulu’s momentum, executing a series of well-timed shots and forcing turnovers.
The team’s defense, in particular, stood out as they effectively blocked MSU-Sulu’s scoring opportunities and shut down their best plays.
MSUN’s relentless pressure, coupled with precise ball movement and effective shooting, allowed them to pull ahead and maintain control throughout the rest of the game.
Despite MSU-Sulu’s best efforts to mount a comeback, MSUN’s consistent scoring and solid defense proved too much to overcome, leaving the final score in favor of MSUN.
This victory not only extends MSUN’s winning streak from the morning’s volleyball game, but also solidifies their growing dominance in the tournament, as they continue to prove themselves as one of the top contenders
